Q. You say your baskets are environmentally friendly, but what does that really mean?
A. We avoid excess waste and packaging as much as possible. We strive for high quality recycled materials in every basket. We use bio-degradable cello wrap. We are always open to suggestions, so please feel free to give us any of your ideas.
Q. How fresh are the food products in your baskets?
A. Why spend your valuable time and money to send food baskets that are less than fresh? We know that stale products will not make a favourable impression on your clients; we only include the freshest food products in our gift baskets. In fact, we have taste testers to make sure!
Q. I can’t decide what I want. Can you help?
A. We believe in customization and will put our creativity to work for you to create your perfect gift basket. We love helping our customers design gift baskets for any happy occasion like a new baby, holidays or birthdays. Creating baskets for solemn occasions is difficult for anyone; please let us make a few suggestions to help you make the decision.
Q. I know there’s a milestone coming up but I am afraid I will forget. Can you remember for me?
A. We understand how your busy day can make it hard to remember your own meetings, let alone a significant date three months away. We can alleviate some of that stress. We will diarize upcoming occasions so you do not have to remember them, and will contact you a few weeks in advance to discuss gift basket ideas.
Q. What about Taxes and Delivery?
A. Taxes and delivery are extra and will be added to the gift basket price upon checkout.
Q. What about same day delivery?
A. We offer same day delivery when the gift basket order is received before 10:00 am. If a local order is received after 10:00 am, the gift basket will be delivered locally the following day (ie. a gift basket ordered at 1:00 pm on Tuesday for a local delivery, will be delivered on Wednesday). Arrangements can be made for the gift basket order received later than 10:00 am which must be delivered the same day. There is an additional charge for this service.
Q. When will my basket be shipped?
A. We use UPS for deliveries outside Calgary and surrounding areas. We will make our best efforts to have your gift basket shipped as soon as possible, however delivery by UPS could take 1 to 6 days elsewhere in Canada.
Q. What about shipping discounts on multiple gift baskets being sent to a single address?
A. Multiple gift baskets being shipped to a single address qualify for a discount on shipping. Please call us at (403) 995-0565 place your multiple gift basket order (or email your gift basket order); we will be happy to provide you a quote for delivery.
Q. Why don’t you offer free shipping like other gift basket companies?
A. We believe for the most part, free shipping offered by other gift basket companies is actually calculated in the price of the gift basket. The quality of the products we use and the selections available are of greater value than using lower quality or minimal products in a basket and using free shipping as a marketing strategy.
Q. I am concerned about using my credit card online. Can I be assured your shopping cart is secure?
A. Yes. However, if you are concerned about providing your credit information on the website, please contact us by telephone at 403-995-0565, we would be happy to take the information over the telephone.
Q. Will I be able to purchase a custom designed gift basket?
A. We would love the opportunity to use your ideas and design the perfect gift basket with your specifications for any special occasion. Please contact us to discuss your options, gift basket prices and delivery schedule.
Q. What is I would like to add liquor to a gift basket?
We are happy to add any type of liquor of your choice to your gift basket. In order to add your choice of liquor, please contact us to provide us with the information.
Please note that gift baskets containing liquor require 2 days prior notice before delivery in the local area. As well, delivery of any gift basket containing liquor must be signed for by someone over the age of 18. Gift baskets containing liquor cannot be shipped out of Alberta.
Q. Do you substitute products or containers in gift baskets?
A. It may become necessary to substitute an item in a gift basket on occasion. You can rest assured that the quality and presentation of the gift basket will not be compromised and that any substitutions will be made with products of equal or greater value. Containers may be substituted with those of equal or greater value in rare circumstances only.
Q. What if I would like to return a gift basket?
A. Due to health and safety regulations, any gift baskets containing food products cannot be returned. We make every effort to ensure that the gift baskets arrive in perfect condition; however, there may be circumstances where this is not the case. If a gift basket should arrive damaged, please contact us immediately. We would be happy to provide credit or replacement once the gift basket is returned for inspection. Please note shipping is not refundable.
